Happy Thanksgiving, Merry Christmas, and now.... HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!

Hello, my name is Beatrice Martinez!! Haaa haa ha, I know I should reintroduce myself being that it has been 3 months since I have blogged. I FB (Facebook) more now, which could be a good thing or bad.... but anyways. Lots has been happening and happened since I last checked in! My son will be 10 months coming up and `Elysiana turned 7. Geez, how time goes by! I am still working on school and trying to get done before May. I can do it (that is my mantura). I am getting geared up for a new year with new goals and promises to myself and to the Lord that I intend to work on to live out: (1) to better myself as a person and (2) for His glory! I have been truly blessed this year and have grown so much in so many different ways. I am finally starting to trust God with everything. It is soo much easier said than done, but it is truly awesome to see the things that He can, will, and does take care of if we let Him. I will try and stay more on top of the blogging thing, but I wanted to say a SPECIAL HELLO AND I LOVE, MISS, and PRAY FOR LEAH!!! She is truly a good friend and someone that I think about more often than not, but don't tell her enough!

Christmas was a blast... especially with the kids!!! The tradition is: Christmas Eve is spent at my mom's because that is my dad's birthday, so we make him a party with all the family. We party and celebrate until mid-night and then let everyone open presents.

Okay... okay, I admit, I am the worst blogger!!!

I know it has been like forever and a year since I posted last! Steph, please don't give up on me yet! Ha haa ha!! Well, let's see... where do I start? We had our Chandler Conference and that was really good and even better for me because the biggest announcement was that my Sister and her husband have come back to our church to assist my dad! So I was way SIKED about that. YAY, now I get to have my nephew & niece back!! Then the rest of the month blew by with `Elysiana starting 1st grade. Check out her first day of school pics...

Life has definitely been on the "Bizzy" side for me lately. Uziah is good, just growing, growing, growing.... No teeth yet, but we can wait. That will just be a sign he is growing up and we don't want to rush that at all.

I just wanted to check in and let you all know that I was INDEED alive, just busy with life in general. Just as an FYI, I am getting better at scheduling my day, so maybe I am going to have to slot some time in for blogging!?

Catch Up Time...

Hello, Hello to my wonderful family and friends! I have been soo busy since I last posted... Let's see, I had Prescott July Conference, then I came home to a friend having a baby (she wasn't supposed to come until August 10th!!), so then that meant multiple hospital visits. Then the friend that had the baby bought a house and was in the process of moving (she had a c-section by the way) and is not supposed to be moving anything (but she is) so I have been trying to be of service to her as much as my schedule allows. In the mean time Uziah is teething, we have gotten a new dog (the weekend before Conference), I am trying to get `Elysiana ready to start 1st grade on August 10th (WHICH IS THE WEEK OF CHANDLER CONFERENCE!!!!!), and trying to get some of my own homework done in the middle of it all!? Do they make Calgon anymore!?! :) No, but really in all honesty, I love it! I just wanted to say HOWDY to all of you in my blogging world and share a little of what has been going on. LOVE YA!!! I know... I know, it has been a long time!?!?

Finally, I get to say hello to my blogging buddies!?! It has been a whirlwind of activity in my house for the last 4 weeks. I think I blogged last the day that my parents left for Malaysia (a lot of responsibility left with me when they are gone), they came back a week, we had a church wedding (`Elysiana was their flowergirl), then a bababyshower, then my parents left again for Chicago! THEY FINALLY GOT BACK YESTERDAY (my mom's birthday)!!!! I am so thrilled. Now I have to get my house in order and packed for Prescott Conference, and we are fasting this week taboot. Geez, I think I am really going to find a part-time job to rest!

No, but in all honesty, I am really am having a blast. I am thoroughly enjoying being home and watching my son grow and spending summer break with my daughter and nephew/niece. My daughter is still happy to have me home even though she says I am meaner when I stay home with her all day! HA HAAA HA

Uziah is not rolling over yet, but is learning to giggle. He sounds very cute, so I spend a lot of time with him just making him giggle to hear him. I call him my little Gus Gus (the litte fatty mouse on Cinderella). He is eating the 1st foods Gerber baby foods (only at night) and loves all his veggies. He is probably going to be a lot like `Elysiana (she is not a big sweets eater) because he is not really big on the fruits.

I am really going to have to make me a daily schedule for when I get back from conference, because I got through the orientation on my schooling and that has been it so far! I KNOW LEAH IS PROBABLY SHAKING HER HEAD RIGHT NOW!! :-) But hey, I want to spend as much time with Lissy before she goes back to school, because this year she will be in all day. She starts school August 10th I think. That is the week we start our Chandler Conference. Also on my "to-do" list is to start working out. I am looking into the T Tapp excercise program. I say that only because I will feel responsible to do it (eventually) because I told someone. Have you girls ever heard anything good, bad, or ugly!?!? I hear that they are made specifically for people who cannot lift or jump!?! I will have to let you know....

Anyways, I better sign off for now and do a little school work while the kids are still sleeping. Can you believe my kids are still asleep at 10:30 a.m.!?!

Happy Hump Day!

Well good morning everyone in my blogging world! Today is another day and I am excited to get started on it, so I can see what gifts it brings me....
My parents left to Malaysia, so I am a little bummed about that, but it gives me time to do stuff around my house (YEAH RIGHT!?!) My close friends have said I have A.D.D. but my goal today is to prove them wrong and complete one task at a time. I have come to realize one problem in my life is, I never stay on one project. I have TONS of stuff going on at once, so I am constantly all over the place. Like right now, I am supposed to be separating clothes and getting ready because my husband invited me to lunch, but what am I doing!? Oh well, that is what makes me - Bea! Well I don't have anything eventful to talk about yet, so I will just sign off for now, but I may be back a little later. I have posted a couple of current pictures of my little puppy and kids/videos for you all to enjoy. Have a good rest of the day!

12 Weeks and counting....

Hello again...
Today is Monday and it was somewhat of a weird day. I went to bed at 1:30 a.m. and woke up bright eyed and bushy tailed right at 8:00 a.m. this morning!?!? Weird, huh!?! (ummmm, it is now 12:46 Tuesday morning) Anyways, it hit me today that my son is now 12 weeks old!!! OMG..... I cannot believe it, already 12 weeks. It seems like he just came home with me from the hospital. It was a bittersweet moment when I realized how fast time is flying by. But the greatest thing is I AM HOME TO SEE HIS EVERY MILESTONE moments!!! My daughter too is growing up way to fast. She and I have had done nothing but laughing and hanging out. Today was the first day I ever made her pancakes for breakfast. GET A LOAD OF THAT!?! What the heck.... that made me feel really terrible. But then I felt better to know that I have lots of mornings now that I can make her pancakes! Well after pancakes, we headed out the door to run around and get Tata and Nani to the airport. They, along with my sister and her husband are on their way to Malaysia. Gee, I don't envy them at all......... Well I am going to scoot for now, I can feel a yawn coming on

My First Official Day as a REAL STAY AT HOME MOMMY!

Okay so today was a blast..... literally, it is 1:26 am the next day and I am still up and about!?! I know, I know, I am a weirdo and a total night owl anyways so should it surprise you?? Anyways, I have my nephew and niece here with me and my daughter. It is really a cool thing now because I can do all the fun mom stuff, but fun Auntie stuff too! Who else would be up making peanut butter and jelly sandwiches right now!? I can - because I don't have to worry about waking up (EXCEPT WHEN UZIAH WANTS A BOTTLE).

Well I better sign off for now, I have to get the kiddos to bed before my sister kills me tomorrow for keeping her kids up until the next day....... talk to you all very soon! P.S. I just noticed I need to change the date on my camera it is really May 29, 2009.

Hello...Hello

Well HELLO to everyone in my world! This blogging thing is all very new to me, but I do think that I am going to love it as I get more familiarized with the "blogging life".

My life has changed a lot in the last few weeks. We moved, I had a beautiful baby boy I named Uziah, my little girl graduated kindergarten, my husband had surgery to prevent future children, and I just started school to pursue a stay at home career. Well if that isn't enough, today really changed everything.... I went to work oblivious to the world around me, and was called into the HR Department ladies office. Well you can guess what happened next right!?! I got laid off, BUT NO WORRIES, I was the happiest laid off person there has ever been! (Steph can testify to that) It will give me the opportunity to finish my schooling at a faster pace, but most important I GET TO BE HOME WITH MY CHILDREN!!!! My life and future is in God's hands so I am at peace knowing that I am in the palm of His hand.

Wish me luck on my new endeavor to be a REAL STAY AT HOME MOM!!! I am soo excited I don't think I am even going to sleep tonight!
