Reflect upon your present blessings, of which every man has plenty; not on your past misfortunes of which all men have some. ~ Charles Dickens

OMG!?!! What in the world!?!? I know... I know, go ahead and say it.... It has been way to long to even try and explain all that has gone on in the last 7 months of my "BIZZY" life and some of life's lessons I have learned. Since it has been a while, I will reflect on the blessings and all the good things that the Lord has so graciously given me.

1) Being my salvation and the mercy of a loving and forgiving Savior. Because I have that ALONE, I have everything. I have realized, I have always thought of things that I could change but lacked to think of changing myself first. So I have made a few conscience efforts to do so this year. I started working out eating better and trying to just change some really nasty attitudes that had developed in my heart and life. ME!?!?  ATTITUDE!?!? YEAH RIGHT!!?!  LOL

2) Would have to be my husband. This year I will be married 10 YEARS!!! Oh my! Can you all believe Gilbert has put up with me that LONG!?!?! He is my all time BEST FRIEND!!!
I have really learned this year that TRUE LOVE does not come by finding the perfect person, but by learning to see an imperfect person perfectly..... and INCLUDED in 2) would be my 2 wonderful children that God has entrusted me with.  (THAT'S A SCARY THOUGHT!!!) I cannot even imagine the love of God for us because I love my kids soo much it hurts.  I have come to realize that you can give your kids anything and everything they may desire in material things but the most important is a few minutes of your time.

3)True Friends... yes I said true. I am sure that we all have "friends" but they are really not FRIENDS just aquintances or people that have a few similar interests, but TRUE TRUE friends are very rare and hard to find. I have also come to realize that in the last few months. A true friend may find it difficult, but can & will when necessary tell you things you don't want to admit or tell yourself. They also will take the same constructive love and correction when given back and STILL BE YOUR FRIEND.

4) Time.... You can NEVER NEVER get it back once the moment is gone!  So I am making the most of it!  The kids are getting big so fast and this world is changing into something more and more ugly by the day.  How you spend your time is more important than how you spend your money. Money mistakes can be corrected, but time is gone forever. .  I found this and laughed and cried at the same time:

It seemed like just yesterday....

Well enough of my life's lessons.... wishing everyone lots of love and blessings.  Take care!

  2. LOVING this post...especially because I cried Monday night just thinking about how fast my kids have grown and how fast it's just going to keep going.

There's so much I could say, but suffice it to say that you must be going through some things I've been going through and I agree with you 100% on all of your thoughts today.

Thanks for sharing them and for checking in on your blog. It was good to "see" you! :)
